All donations are tax deductible as permitted by law. Open Hands Food Pantry has been designated as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Documentation verifying this status is available upon request.
IMPORTANT: Please be aware that in many cases we are able to get more food for our clients with monetary donations to Open Hands than with food donations. The donated money can buy more food through Gleaners and our other suppliers. It is better for safety reasons for us to buy food rather than to accept food and packages that have been handled by several people.
More about donations and food drives can be found at the FAQs page.
Looking to donate baby formula? At this time we are unable to accept formula due to storage issues. HERE is a link to a list of resources in the area. Scroll down to "Formula Resources".
