Food Donations

Limited Donations

We are currently accepting limited food and toiletry donations.  We are asking that groups or individuals wanting to donate to please choose one item to collect (like a soup drive or a peanut butter drive).  We do not currently have the room or the volunteers to sort through a donation of random items.

Go HERE for a list of suggested items to donate (donations of one item in bulk, please)

==============================================================================

All donations are tax deductible as permitted by law. Open Hands Food Pantry has been designated as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Documentation verifying this status is available upon request.

Please be aware that in many cases we are able to get more food for our clients with monetary donations to Open Hands than with food donations. The donated money can buy more food through Gleaners and our other suppliers.  During this coronavirus outbreak, it is better for safety reasons for us to buy food rather than to accept food and packages that have been handled by several people.

A list of our many donor organizations can be found HERE.
